lets go on a date.

and thats what i did yesterday.

After months of working non-stop (or at least that is what it felt like), I finally got some time off, meaning thereby that I get to see a part of the evening outside of office. And since then, i have been on a spending spree, aided by the recent cash flow. So, what started with an itch, ended up with me doing everything larger than my life. And then i came across yesterday evening when i yet again in pursuit of the itch, decided to watch a movie by my self (not my first time) and to do it grand. So, I went to see the movie in one of those theater with those 180 degree recliner chairs and a concierge for food orders. Utter bliss. And to add to that, I reached 30 minutes before the start of the movie, which time was then utilized for some very tasty Beer intake.

Somewhere in the middle of the movie, right after a call from a guy who asked whether I went to the movie without him to which the answer was in your face, with my beer addled brain being very expressive about my feelings, i realized that lately i am capable of being independent to the extent where i can enjoy time with myself without any human interaction. Lately, I have even been pampering myself, unlike what i have been able to do for some time.

The theater, with seating of 25-30 was almost empty and from my seat, it looked like the movie was being played just for me. I laughed harder and sniffed a bit too during those emotional-amma-reminder scenes. And on my way back, I listened to dancing numbers, which unfortunately I have very limited in my list, but which still did their very best to match with my dancing mood all the way home.

All in all, my date with myself got me a movie, drinks, a restaurant styled dining, a comforter for keeping me warm during the movie, a dance party in my car and a night cap of whiskey in the comfort of my room. Perfect.

Just for a few hrs, but still perfect.
