Run On or Not.

It’s a race
And to what end

I get up, eat, bathe
And start on work.
I am not diligent
and yet I work
I skip work to watch TV
To play a game
To defer and procrastinate
And yet I work
I feel guilty in between
cause work is worship
and yet I digress
and then get back to work
but there are days
a few in between
when I take time off of work.
And then I get back to work
I like my work
But its made sure
That I have
nothing else but work.

The vicious cycle of my life
Work (and not the dentist’s visit)
A cycle I rely on to find peace
A cycle that is my excuse to live
A rat race that I am thrust upon
I work, I like work and I work
But today, I applaud all those
Who are free from this toil
You lucky bast***s
You better make something
Better of your life
Than being stuck in the
Vicious cycle that I am stuck in.
I like what I do
I survive

You better not just survive
But Live.
