Lo and Behold

Years keep piling on,

It was landmark year just a few days back,

I had turned 18

And then it was the other landmark of turning 30

And then the 35

And now, 38 has come and gone,

And it did not even register,

So when I am asked

How does it feel on this side of 38

and I say sad and bad

Its not cause of adding of another age ring on my bones

Rather cause its getting hotter and I don’t like summers
