 To disengage

 

From mobile,

that takes me into lives of others 

and holds space in my head 

when in fact I have enough of my own 

to hold that space

 

From websites,

that take to an imagined lifestyle 

when in fact it keeps changing 

and the one I have is nothing less or more, 

so why bother

 

From window shopping, 

that takes me to a future 

that does not exist 

when the fact is that all that matters 

is right now and my view.
